I’m grateful to have found people that I knew in Kentucky after the ice storm relatively safe. I’m also grateful that the ice storm barely missed us here in Nashville.

Titans (who should be rested and healthy and will actually find a way to run in Vince Young for a couple of trick plays, plus rookie Joe Flacco can’t win two playoff games on the road)
Panthers (who in no way, shape, or form can lose this game. When I saw the Cardinals giving the coach a Gatorade bath last week I knew they were just “happy to be there”)
I’m a Vandy grad and we’ve never had much of a football team…Many coaches have tried and it burned them out. I remember the year we won a game against Duke (Duke!) and the students tore down the goalposts.
But this year was special. We finally got a bowl game which we won for the first time since 1955. Happy times for all the players and coaches – enjoy it. Let’s hope it becomes something to build on
