My big problem with government-run healthcare

I certainly don’t want to say the same things that everyone else has said so I’ll say this:

I’m not in favor of government-run (single payer) healthcare in the slightest and the example I use is funding for disease cures.

Let’s say that you have Diseases A and B. Disease A kills many, many more people than Disease B but Disease B get much, much more funding that A. Does that sound like a good way for the government to decide?

Disease A is MRSA and Disease B is AIDS.

I guess I have to hope that if I get sick under a government-run plan that I get a “popular” disease
